I am a Colorado Native, born in Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Aurora, and I have lived in Colorado for most of my life.  I attended Wheaton College in Illinois and holds a master’s degree from the Augustine Institute. In my free time, I enjoy fishing, reading, golfing, and hiking.  As a die-hard baseball fan, I love watching Rockies baseball.  I look forward to providing you with quality service in your next roof replacement or storm restoration project.
Mark Janney

A Colorado native, I have over 25 years of experience as a contractor and builder in Colorado – spanning home interior and exterior renovation, overseeing apartment building construction, managing local construction and roofing companies, real estate sales, and leading projects from concept through architectural design, planning, development, to completed home/buildings. That diversity of experience and appreciation of home value means you’ve got an advocate when it comes to getting your repairs done quickly, professionally, and on time.

Still residing in the Lakewood/ Morrison area where I grew up, Colorado is more than home to me and I take pride in my community.

Rachel Bertotti

I joined Concise Construction because the company is built on honesty and integrity. The first time I met the owners, Mark and Tom, I could tell that they truly care about the community that they serve and take pride in their company. This is extremely important in this industry as most people aren’t experts about roofs and rely on the company to lead them through the process.  I’ve enjoyed learning about roofs and insurance. I also like networking and sharing what I’ve learned with people who may need our services.

When I’m not on a hot tin roof, you can find me mostly with friends. I love being in the mountains, playing volleyball and soccer, and hosting game nights. I’m astounded by the beauty of Colorado and am grateful that I get to live here!

“Throughout the four years that I have been working in the industry, I have performed many aspects of the trade. I started out with working with claims adjustments and working with insurance representatives gave me a great understanding of how the insurance process works and how to create the best possible outcomes for all parties involved. Working directly with many different insurance companies taught me how the insurance industry works as a whole and how to achieve result quickly and efficiently. After spending time working with insurance companies and claims adjustments, I moved out into the field to start helping homeowners achieve their dreams of how they wanted their house to look. Providing homeowners with a fantastic service, honesty, integrity and transparency is my goal every time I interact with a homeowner or business owner.  Sometimes it can be tough to understand everything that is detailed in an insurance claim. I pride myself on being there for a homeowner or a business owner to sit down with them, help them understand the process, explain what their options are and also help them to achieve their vision of their perfect home or business. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and being able to help them navigate throughall that an insurance claim entails. I am grateful to also have helped many insurance agents and real estate agents with problem solving some of the issues that come up with trying to insure a home or getting a home sold.
When I am not working hard, I greatly enjoy spending time with my girlfriend of 5 years, snowboarding, hiking, taking our goldendoodle (Gretzky) on walks, vacationing around Colorado, watching and playing hockey, and going to Broncos games. I was born and raised in Westminster and currently still live in this beautiful state. I have had opportunities to move elsewhere but there is nowhere that beats a Colorado sunset or a fresh powder day on the Rocky Mountains. I simply love the place I live and the job I am able to do.”

I joined my sister in working with  Concise Construction in 2019 because of their client oriented business model and their commitment to quality service. As a teacher of many years, I enjoy helping others and explaining new information to them. Working for Concise Construction allows me to do both of these. Recognizing hail damage and filing an insurance claim is often new territory for homeowners, and I would be glad to guide you through the process.
In my free time I enjoy playing basketball and other sports. I spend a lot of time reading and discussing philosophical questions with friends. I am working toward a master’s degree in theology and I enjoy assisting with the formation of the youth in my church. I also enjoy playing classical guitar, swing dancing, and coppersmithing.

In the summer I enjoy staying busy working for Concise Construction and in the winter I am a snowboarding instructor in my home town of Steamboat Springs. During the mud season I get to spend some time traveling. Wherever I travel, I strive to immerse myself in the local culture and experience new things that are unique to that area. Every new place I go, I see a different way of life and discover a little more about myself. Seeing animals I didnt know about and stumbling upon amazing places I have never seen are the greatest pleasures I have ever experienced. When I am wandering from town to town with only a backpack and without a plan, I truly feel like myself. There are many regions on earth I have yet to explore, but I intend to see them all.

Brittney Boudreau

I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and I am passionate about helping people. Working with Concise Construction, a local company, allows me to be a part of the community. I’ve enjoyed getting to know the ins and outs of this business and helping projects to run smoothly. I moved to Colorado in February 2019 with my boyfriend Aedan and we have really enjoyed exploring the beautiful outdoors. When I’m not at work I am finding a new place to hike or buying tickets to a nearby concert.

Zeke Hackney

Growing up in Thornton, I helped my father remodel our home several times over the years. I fell in love with the process and have worked on numerous construction and value addreal estate projects before I started performing claims inspections as a third party adjuster. In 2018, I decided to use my knowledge of the field to help homeowners navigate the claims process.

In our free time, my family and I enjoy fishing, riding our dirt bikes, attending concerts and comedy clubs. I am also an accomplished bowler.
Drew Schoenster
Originally from New England, this will be my 3rd season working with homeowners in storm recovery.  I worked as a director at the YMCA for a number of years and realized I was really good at helping people!  When not hopping roofs, I enjoy the backcountry.
On any given weekend, you may find me on the side of a mountain hiking or skiing.  You may also find me hollering from the bleachers at a Rockies or Broncos game!

Tom Ross

Tom & Becky Ross | Concise ConstructionWhen I began to work in the insurance repair industry years ago, I had the opportunity to work with several former adjusters which helped me understand and appreciate the claims process and the importance of providing as much detail and information as possible during all aspects of the project. I value what I have learned from those I worked with as well as many of the insurance adjusters I have met along the way. When we help customers through the claims process, they rely on our knowledge of the insurance standards and parameters to protect them from unnecessary claims as well as to assist them in making sure all of their damage is covered. Many insurance agents also appreciate our practice of honesty and fairness when performing free inspections prior to claims being turned in. We have kept many of their clients from turning in claims that were unwarranted. We highly value the trust that agents put in us when we are one of the companies that they recommend to their insureds, and we try hard to make sure that each and every customer feels taken care of through the entire process.

My partner Mark and I began working together in this industry back in 2011. Working together in CONCISE CONSTRUCTION has been a great opportunity to blend our knowledge and experience in this industry which enables us to be one of the more trusted “local” companies. I feel very privileged to work with someone like Mark who shares my commitment to excellence and professionalism with our customers and agents that we work with. With our company, you are not just another number. We care and will work hard to win the trust of each customer we have the opportunity to assist throughout the claims repair process.

When I am not at work, I am usually outdoors with my wife/best friend. If it is outdoors we love it, whether it is climbing a 14er, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, skiing, backpacking, camping, disk golf… you get the picture. We also like concerts at Red Rocks, traveling, hitting a hot springs once in a while and seeing all that our beautiful state has to offer.

Van Saukam

I immigrated to the USA in 1975 with my family to escape the Vietnam War and the Killing Fields of the Khmer Rouge Regime.  My grandfather at the time was serving as president of the Cambodian National Senate, and he was also the Lieutenant General of the Cambodian National Army.

I have lived in Colorado for 30 years of my life and call Colorado my permanent home.  I currently reside in Highlands Ranch with my family.  My priority in life is my family, consisting of my wonderful and beautiful wife, and two loving sons.  My passions are cooking, the outdoors, music and other arts, and the instruction and practice of Eastern Martial Arts.

I am driven by my spiritual philosophies and commitments so that I am able to provide the best life experiences for my family, friends, and my clients.  My main goal in life is to strive to work hard and be successfull, so that I will have the opportunity to write worthwhile memories in my Book of Life.

Katie Hohag

I was born and raised in the great state of Minnesota. After college I ventured out to California where I held various sales jobs before eventually landing one with a large roofing and solar company in the spring of 2015. By the fall of 2017 I felt it was necessary to move a little closer to home so I started interviewing with companies in Denver. I was looking for a good fit more than anything. When I interviewed with Mark and Tom and managed to talk for several hours about everything from business to sports to life in Colorado, I knew it was the right fit. In my free time you can find me playing hockey, golf, softball, bowling or playing tourist in this beautiful state!

Devon Rutherford

Devon Rutherford | Concise ConstructionMy name is Devon and I have been in the roofing industry for 2 years. I began working on the production side and helped manage the crews in the field. I really enjoy working with customers and ensuring that each project is completed in a timely manner from start to finish. Brent Cortes

Brent Cortes | Concise ConstructionI was born and raised in sunny Southern California. At the age of 17, I enlisted in the United States Navy, and as a Boatswain’s Mate I learned the value of hard work and discipline. After the Navy, I began my construction career, honing my skills in concrete and masonry. I later joined the Union as a Journeyman Carpenter. During this time, I learned many facets of the construction industry, including roofing. I was then given the opportunity to come to Colorado to work for Concise Construction. Being a project manager for the company is a privilege, and I feel that I am able to help not only my clients, but also my neighbors in assisting them throughout the insurance claim process. Driven by my strong faith and high moral standards, I believe that Concise is a good fit for me because they too have a sense of obligation to their clients that I feel very comfortable with. When I am not working, I spend time with my beautiful wife exploring the outdoors or just hanging with good friends.
